About IPeers

IPeers is organized by researchers at the Legal Studies Department at the Central European University (CEU). It brings together students, researchers, and faculty from inside and outside CEU which share an interest in IP and IT law, law & innovation, law & technology, and related disciplines.

The group was founded in 2018 by CEU's former and current PhD students Giulia Priora, David Tilt, Pelin Turan, and Ioana Stupariu out of the desire to create a student-led IP community at CEU.

On this website, the current IPeers Team, consisting of Maria José Schmidt-Kessen (CEU), David Tilt (CEU) and Pelin Turan (Sant'Anna), publishes information about IPeers events, blog posts about ongoing developments in IP and IT law, and the IPeers podcast series with guests of IPeers events where we discuss the making of their research.

IP has a lot of connections with creativity - this is why some space on this website is reserved to publishing creative outbursts (photography, poems, music, etc.) by IPeers and friends under the tab IPeers Media (coming soon...).
